How We Roll

1. General Policies (Applicable to All Services)

1.1. Code of Conduct

  • All instructors, mentors, and coaches must maintain professionalism, respect, and patience with clients.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Clients are expected to treat staff and fellow learners with respect.

1.2. Payment & Fees

  • Payment is due before or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed (e.g., monthly billing for lessons).
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit, PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Cash (in-person only).
  • Late payments may incur a fee (e.g., 5% after 7 days).

1.3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice required for cancellations/rescheduling.
  • No-shows may be charged 50% of the session fee.
  • Exceptions for emergencies (case-by-case basis).

1.4. Refund Policy

  • Music Production Services (Mixing/Mastering):
    • Deposits are non-refundable once work begins.
    • Partial refunds possible if project is cancelled mid-way (prorated based on work completed).
  • Mentoring/Coaching & Guitar Lessons:
    • Refunds available if cancelled before the first session.
    • After sessions begin, refunds only for unused pre-paid sessions (minus a 10% admin fee).
  • Guitar Lessons Refund Policy

1. Pre-Paid Lesson Packages

  • If a student cancels before the first lesson, they are eligible for a full refund (minus any processing fees, if applicable).
  • If a student cancels after the first lesson but before subsequent sessions, they will receive a prorated refund for unused lessons (minus a 10% administrative fee).

2. Single Session Payments

  • No refunds for single-session bookings once the lesson has occurred.
  • If cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice, the payment can be credited toward a future lesson.

3. No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy

  • Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
  • No-shows (missed lessons without notice) forfeit the session fee.

4. Instructor Cancellations

  • If Music Pro Services cancels a lesson (e.g., instructor illness), students will receive a free rescheduled lesson at a convenient time.

5. Dissatisfaction Guarantee

  • If a student is unsatisfied after the first lesson, they may request a partial refund (50% of the first lesson fee).

6. Exceptions

  • Refund requests due to medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis (documentation may be required).

1.5. Intellectual Property

  • Music Production Clients retain all rights to their original recordings.
  • Music Pro Services may use finished work (with permission) for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.
  • Lesson materials (tabs, exercises) are for personal use only—no redistribution without consent.

2. Service-Specific Policies

2.1. Music Production Services

Recording, Mixing & Mastering

  • Clients must provide high-quality stems/vocals (WAV/MP3) if not recorded at Music Pro Services.
  • Revisions:
    • 3 free rounds of revisions per project.
    • Additional revisions billed at an hourly rate.
  • Turnaround time depends on project scope (typically 7-14 days unless rush fees apply).

Custom Compositions

  • Licensing terms (exclusive vs. non-exclusive) must be agreed upon in writing.
  • Royalty splits (if any) must be documented before release.

2.2. Mentoring & Coaching

Structure & Expectations

  • Sessions can be one-on-one or group-based (virtual or in-person).
  • Clients should come prepared with goals/questions.
  • Progress tracking via feedback forms (optional).

Session Length & Frequency

  • Standard session: 60 minutes (shorter/longer options available).
  • Recommended frequency: Weekly or bi-weekly for best results.

2.3. Guitar Lessons

Lesson Levels & Curriculum

  • Beginner: Chords, strumming, basic theory.
  • Intermediate: Scales, improvisation, songwriting.
  • Advanced: Technique mastery, advanced theory, performance prep.

Equipment Requirements

  • Students must have their own guitar (acoustic/electric).

Makeup Lessons

  • Missed lessons can be rescheduled once per month with 24-hour notice.

3. Liability & Safety

  • In-Person Sessions:
    • Studio/lesson space must be kept safe and equipment handled responsibly.
    • Parents/guardians must supervise minors (if applicable).
  • Online Sessions:
    • Stable internet connection required; technical issues on the client’s side do not warrant refunds.

4. Amendments & Agreement

  • Policies may be updated with 30 days’ notice (clients will be informed).
  • By engaging with Music Pro Services, clients agree to these terms.
